Paragon City has always been one of America’s greatest cities – a center of commerce, industry and even superheroes. A veritable storybook metropolis where dreams came true.
Jack Emmert, March 2002

Has this website convinced you that Paragon City is safe to visit? Sure, we have a corrupt leader, but if you're only hear for a couple weeks, what does that matter? Paragon City only gives the appearance of being unsafe because of the profit Statesman earns from perpetrating that.  Rest assured, you have nothing to worry about.

So, why not buy a ticket to visit our glorious city?

About City of Heroes:

City of Heroes was released on April 28, 2004.  The world's first MMORPG based on the world of comics, Cryptic's City of Heroes became a huge success and was the top selling game for the first three months of its release.  Since release, the game world has increased greatly.  The six issue updates have included 13 zone additions, 5 trials, many task forces, 4 new power sets, epic power pools, 2 epic archetypes, and much, much more.  More recently, the game world expanded as City of Villains was added, allowing players to jump into the other side of the world, playing villains in the harsh Rogue Isles.  City of Heroes and City of Villains exemplify the comic book world, giving players a chance to put on spandex, a cape, and mask and do good... or bad.

Issues:
Issue 1: Through the Looking Glass
Issue 2: A Shadow of the Past
Issue 3: A Council of War
Issue 4: Colloseum
Issue 5: Forest of Dread
Issue 6: Along Came a Spider

About the Paragon City Touristry Board:
This site was created by Cantatus in 2005 for City of Heroes' Fan Site Contest.  The site presents a not often seen perspective of life in Paragon City.  Is everyone there truly happy with the way things have gone?  Has everyone been able to retain perspective after many horrible atrocities?  Look at all the citizens have gone through: invasions from other dimensions, caving in of city zones, earthquakes, corrupt politicians, near decimation of the city, kidnappings, curses, etc.

The character that founded this site has pure intentions.  He truly believes everything on this site, but he's also delusional.  When the economy went south, he looked for someone to blame, and rather than looking at the actual cause, he let his paranoia get the best of him.

In a way, this site provides a satire of the game.  Everyone in the city can't be sane, which is why Cantatus, through Fletcher, felt he was the perfect person to provide that perspective.
